BTS Data Release: May 2026 U.S. Transportation Sector Unemployment (3.6%) Falls Below the May 2025 Level (4.4%) In May 2026, the unemployment rate in the U.S. transportation sector was 3.6% (not seasonally adjusted), falling 0.8 percentage points from 4.4% in May 2025.
