In my opinion, BJP Tamil Nadu has won the battle on three languages vs two languages through their aggressive counter attacks. To be honest, I was skeptical of this approach. I was wondering why they were sticking to their position in a language fanatical state. But people have

Go away! We need more bullet trains. We need more semi high speed Vande Bharat trains. We need to get forward. We don't want you. We don't need you.
Mumbai - Ahmedabad Bullet Train: A disaster in the making 🧵 Ten years ago, Modi announced a Bullet Train project connecting Mumbai and Ahmedabad by 2022. This was hailed as Modi's ultimate vision, and everyone blamed Congress for not bringing Bullet Trains to India. Ten years

If there is an AIADMK-BJP alliance in the future, BJP must demand 20-25% of the seats to be offered to them. If AIADMK does not agree, BJP should simply contest alone and build up their own vote bank. They can wait for two more decades. No hurry.

I still remember the nasty 'Go Back Modi' campaigns DMK unleashed. Stalin, Udhayanidhi and Kanimozhi will have to apologise for the same. Publicly. Not to Modi. But to each one of us.

With the kind of support Annamalai is getting, BJP should not bother with AIADMK any more. Even if it helps DMK for the next 2-3 elections, BJP should lead and gather like-minded parties around itself. If PMK will not respect BJP, they should also be ignored.

Kamal: If BJP is elected again, capital will move from Delhi to Nagpur. Annamalai: Kamal should have his head examined. Kamal fans: ஐயையோ திட்டிபுட்டான், ஐயையோ திட்டிபுட்டான்…

This is a fairly disturbing news. I read through the judgement from the Madras High Court (by Justice GR Swaminathan sitting in the Madurai Bench). I summarise below: 1. There is a village called N.Panchampatti, in the Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu. In this village, there are
Majority Christian families in a Tamil Nadu village create chaos over a High Court order simply allowing Hindus to hold a one-day Bhandara on govt land. How does @the_hindu report it? “Christian community expressed their disappointment…”

Voted for the BJP candidate Swapna Mary in ward 123 in the Chennai Corporation election. In my polling booth, no crowd whatsoever. My guess is the polling percentage for my ward won’t cross 40-45% even.

The entire DMK, Congress, Communist, VCK, DK ecosystem have come together to paint Hinduism aka Sanatana Dharma as the single biggest evil in this country that should be eradicated. I first thought it was restricted to Tamil Nadu. I now see that Congress in Karnataka (Priyank

Watched Dhruv Rathee's video (that India is not a democracy, that it is like North Korea and Russia). The content is bunkum, but the production and delivery fantastic. There is no way you can come up with a counter video as slick as this. BJP does have problems though. They

Teli ka mandir (a later name) is a 9th century temple built by Raja Mihira Bhoja of the Pratihara dynasty, inside the Gwalior Fort. This is a rare temple with a wagon vaulted roof making many scholars (and an ASI board outside) claim that this is because of South Indian

Stalin wants people to refrain from irresponsible or malicious comments about Karur stampede. I wish he, his son and his sister, all of DMK, followed this advise during the Maha Kumbh stampede. Do a quick search on how they were doing politics all around then.

I fully endorse Sridhar's views. Vote for BJP in the coming Parliament election. I will be, in my South Chennai constituency.
What is at stake in this election: 1. For so long, our country simply got used to politicians in power amassing wealth. For the last 10 years, we have a Prime Minister who not even opponents can accuse of personal corruption. Likewise with all his cabinet colleagues. 2. We

You can make any kind of joke on Modi, but what he has accomplished with the US in the last couple of days is tremendous. Admirable preparatory work by Jaishankar! (a) Defence procurement. India has the money and can buy fighter aircrafts. For Trump, this means money flowing in
