- I'm so moved by the closure of NHS Tavistock GIDS. I would also like to shout from the highest hill WE TOLD YOU SO! For years @Genderintell has had the same malign influence on GIDS queer approach to gender that @stonewalluk has on our public institutions
- 1) We shouldn't need @jk_rowling personal story to understand her general objection to trans authoritarianism. Surely it's not beyond our collective wit to grasp the consequences if men are free to self-identify as women & control the language about women's bodies
- When my 3 boys were little (pre- pubescent) I would take them to the women’s toilets or changing rooms in swimming pools rather than let them go unaccompanied into the men’s . Every woman in the ladies knew exactly why I would do thisJust listened back to the recording of myself on @BBCWomansHour - happy enough with it (though blackshirts not brownshirts 🤦♀️). - I have just watched Matt Walsh’s film for the 2nd time #WhatIsAWoman The truth of my response? I don’t care that Walsh has some views that are different from mine. I’m delighted he made it & exhilarated the film is being watched by millions
- What do left-wing feminists mean by far-right? If they mean the authoritarian exercise of power by an elite group that suppresses dissent and non-compliant conduct, then they might benefit from reflecting on their own political tactics!
- When I & @michelemooreEd raised the alarm about the GIDS in 2017 we were rounded on as hate-speakers, tr*nsphobes & bigots. The @TaviAndPort went on to threaten us with the law if we didn't pass by them first what we wrote. We ignored their threats. How times have changed!Replying to @GlinnerPolly Carmichael reassured kids that the #pubertyblockers are useful in a CBBC documentary back in 2014 @TaviAndPort
