Some of that football from Chelsea U21s tonight was top notch stuff.
At one point I thought I was watching Cryuff football.
Movement on and off the ball. Pace to burn. Everyone comfortable in possession. No clear formation.
Have to respect it.
I had to ask Gareth McCleary why he took it there against us 😭
But all that aside. This is for the old school. Gareth was an unbelievable talent when he played for Bromley at 18/19. Still tearing it up at 38.
Proud of the career he has had. Played for my county as well 🇯🇲
People talk a lot about limbs and scenes in football but when Cameron Congreve scored yesterday it was similar to what happens in a Royal Rumble.
Couple man got thrown over the safe standing barriers and all sorts.
Unbridled joy.
I am well aware that we are only four games into the new League Two season but if Bromley have luck with injuries this season (and bolster with a few talented loanees) I have seen enough to know this team can make the playoffs.
I genuinely don't think this is presumptuous
This feels like cover for the referee.
He blundered the decision.
I do not believe McCleary was trying to injury Grant or achieve what a slo-mo looked like he was doing.
I've been blessed to see some real Bagsmen play for Bromley thru the eras.

@michaelcheek5 is the pound for pound best of them. Club legend.
Bromley have to be one of the hardest teams in the league to play against.
Everyone knows what they're going to do but very few teams know how to combat it.
