yes, i’ve seen that documentary.
- i’m not sure where i saw myself at nearly 31, but making biscuits and gravy on a sunday morning like my dad used to when i was a kid, feeding bits of biscuits to my toddler while i cook my gravy, in a warm house on the first day of december, seems better than i could have made up
- well, it happened. i made tea this morning, forgot i made tea, let it get cold, microwaved it, let it get cold again, microwaved it, forgot about it in the microwave, made another cup of tea, let it get cold, went to microwave it, found my first cup of tea. i am my mom.

- lol, i’m popping into a store for my every 10 day or so shopping trip, and before i got out of my car, i put on a fancy red-tinted lip balm. then i remembered i’m gonna wear my mask and it doesn’t matter how cute i look bc i’m protecting my family and community #WearADamnMask
- overheard my son tell a friend, “when i have a bad day, i like to listen to this song” then started playing bad day by daniel powter and i can not describe how difficult it is to hold in my laughter.
- quick question: if i eat a couple of apple slices, a cheese stick and some beef jerky, can i consider it a charcuterie?
- incredibly thankful for amazing foster parents like the one eli had before us. she asked to take him overnight so she could take him to the county fair tomorrow as a surprise. it gives us a lil break, and him, a chance to reconnect to an incredibly influential person in his life.
- my son didn’t know the word for the heels of a loaf of bread, and called them “bread backs” while also making a hand gesture for parentheses. it’s one of the cutest things he’s ever done, i think.
- he hates it when i stay in indy at ashley’s house bc i sit in his spot on the couch, and sleep in his room on his bed (like, a human bed. that he believes is his. he even pushed my stuff off the bed one time!), but i still love this doggo so much! happy birthday, chuck!!This Monday is an EXTRA special one, because in addition to a new episode of Crime Junkie...it's Chuck's 10th Birthday!! 😭🥳 🐾 Happy birthday to the OG Pruppet and top dog at @audiochuck, whose day will SURELY be filled with lots of treats, long walks, and snuggles!🥰
- all i want to do is clip some of my hair back so it doesn’t get into food or my 4 month old’s fists. why does it always turn me into an 18th century courtesan??
- it’s not pretty but it’s so yummy and i’m very proud of making my own birthday cake.
- the regression of me trying really hard to be a pinterest mom... an ok mom... and a “be thankful it’s wrapped, kid” mom.
- i will never feel older than when, after shushing my child and his friends spending the night, they begin shushing each other so as to not get in trouble with me. because i’m the mom...? bless my parents/friends parents for all the sleepovers they endured for the joys of us kids.
