Hi friends, I am thrilled to announce that my book, Talk Radio's America, is now available for pre-order now. As you may know, pre-orders are crucially important to the success of a book, and I'd very much appreciate it if you might consider pre-ordering. smile.amazon.com/Talk-Radios-Am…

Why would he care about this anymore? He painstakingly followed every norm for 4 years while the other guy smashed them to smithereens. And the voters collectively shrugged their shoulders & tossed his party out of power. Elections have consequences & one message from voters was
Now let’s see if Biden issues a pardon for his brother too. If he does, well, he really will have blown what little was left of his reputation of putting country ahead of even family to complete and utter smithereens.

This is absolutely inappropriate. The Attorney General has no business speaking at a political conference. It's the opposite of depoliticizing the DOJ.

Unmistakable: norms don’t matter, ethics don’t matter, abuse of power doesn’t matter. So why wouldn’t anyone expect, in that context, that Biden wouldn’t just say fuck it, I’m not going to only see my kid through plexiglass for the rest of my life? Why put country over family

It’s Walz’s weakest point imho and it’s now entirely neutralized.
Unearthed audio: Trump tells Tim Walz in 2020 he is “very happy” with his handling of George Floyd protests: “I fully agree with the way he handled it... [Tim Walz is an] excellent guy” (Trump is now trying to criticize Walz over the same issue)

When voters basically said we don’t care about anything like that? It’s bad, but I don’t see how anyone could’ve read this outcome any differently.

You know if they told people no SEC football if the vaccine rate wasn’t 70% in all of the SEC states, they’d hit 70% by the end of July.

It's just funny that the same people who lost their everlasting shit over Biden's student loan program are like cool, cool presidents can just bomb stuff with no congressional authorization.

If Abbott does this, you’re going to see Democratic states start doing all kinds of legally questionable stuff to redistrict their states. You will have an all out districting war with constant escalation & no stopping point unless & until gerrymandering is banned. It will also
Abbott declaring the seats vacant and replacing all Democrats with Republicans would be an egregious abuse of authority. That law to swiftly fill vacancies is meant to be used in case of emergency should the legislature need to be reconstituted quickly in the event of a disaster.

Stop covering her. She’s a backbencher in the minority. What she proposes is literally meaningless unless we give it attention.

Don’t let this story fall through the cracks in a week of truly alarming news. I really can’t recall a single instance in which any Governor basically just moved to immediately overrule a jury verdict.

I mean, you've got members of the press who have totally abandoned any semblance of neutrality here.

It's incredibly frustrating to see scholars of everything from fascism to America's darkest chapters sounding warning bells, and a lot of mainstream media folks are worried about the president giving a political speech. The media is supposed to be a guardian of democracy.

Kudos to the @PhillyInquirer editorial board for taking the media to the woodshed: "Apparently, it’s OK for Trump to spew nonstop nonsense, but Biden can’t ever lose his train of thought."
