Today was my last episode of the Giant Bombcast. Friday is my last day with the company. After spending a third of my life helping to build this thing, it's tough to make my fingers even type that out. (Seriously, what?)
There will be plenty more to say later as I figure out what the future holds, but for now I just want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who supported us all this time, and all the people who have helped me and worked with me along the way to get where I am.
The one thing I will not wait to say is that it's been one of my life's great honors to get to work with @VinnyCaravella for this long. He is exactly as talented, hardworking, and decent as you think. There's nothing I wouldn't trust him with.
I've been slowly losing my mind the last few days, staring at that tweet and grappling with the fact that someone is actually trying to reinvent good old scorecalc.xls
look, at funny as this, back in the early early days of GameSpot the reviewers literally filled in a form with 5 or 6 categories (graphics/gameplay/etc) that generated a game’s final review score using an algorithm none of them knew or had access to.
