    James McDonald now =7th in the Melb Jockeys Premiership. We are couple of days into the 4th month of the season. He had not ridden in Melbourne until 13 days ago. Fair to say he’s in form!

    Took the young fella (9yo) shopping for his first set of cricket pads. Rips them out of the plastic, first thing he says, “ooh, they smell gooood”. Yes, they most certainly do. The boy is officially a cricketer. @gradecricketer

    Realise this aint breaking news but Harry Coffey’s win today was about as good as @Racing stories get. Runs much deeper than a maiden G1 win. Can only imagine Austy’s reaction. And the fact the country’s most prolific trainer got such a kick out of it only adds to the story.Bravo

    Santa Ana Lane has not started shorter than $9 in his past 10 starts. In those 10 starts, he's won 4 Group 1s and a Group 2 Premier Stks. Oddly, his second-shortest starting price in that time was $9.50 in The Everest.
