- Our friend @Neil_J_Smart has given his final lecture, the apprentices learning from his wise words, great times, & hard work - patients getting the very best. Legacy exists in the actions of those that follow & the stories continuing to be told & yes mate, “You did good” RIP

- Replying to @drphiliplee1Must say as a consultant colorectal surgeon I get called to a section every once in a while - absolute privilege to be there at a new life - makes me a bit emotional - reminds me of why medicine is such a wonderful career……despite everything else
- Forget #ClapForCarers its time for #TurnYourBack the last 24hrs have made a mockery of the last 10 weeks - we’ve had lack of PPE, testing, spin, lies, and deaths - far too many deaths because we had no plan..now we have lies & excuses for people who feel they are above the rules
- 35 yrs ago today I started #MedSchool #UWCM #CardiffMeds President 30yrs ago, commenced #surgery 25yrs ago 1/10/97, appointed consultant 6/10/05 17yrs ago @SurgeryRde - now back to where it all began #Reunion & wouldn’t have changed (almost) any of it!
