ESPN, by way of Colorado State. We should be friends, probably.
- Khamzat vs. Nate. UFC 279 on Sept. 10 at T-Mobile Arena. Main event. Five rounds. Verbally agreed, per UFC Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell. It is the final fight on Nate Diaz’s current UFC contract.
- It appears Nate is smoking some kind of herbal cigarette. I don’t recognize the smell but it’s not normal smoke. Looking into it.
00:00 - Breaking: Nate Diaz is eligible to compete at UFC 244. USADA has ruled he has not committed an anti-doping violation. Elevated level of SARMS was traced to a contaminated organic, vegan, plant-based daily multivitamin.
- Breaking: Per Dana White (@danawhite), Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) has signed to face Donald Cerrone (@Cowboycerrone) at UFC 246 on Jan. 18, at welterweight. "Conor has signed and Cerrone is ready to go."
- Breaking: Jon Jones was drug tested by USADA and the California State Athletic Commission on the night of UFC 232 on Dec. 29 and all tests have come back clean. No picograms of the M3 metabolite, which was the source of all the controversy and drama last month, were found.
- OLIVEIRA VS. GAETHJE IS ON, per UFC president Dana White. Championship fight will take place May 7, location TBD. What a fight. And Still? And New?
- Coming in, I thought I would want to see McGregor vs. Gaethje next, for the No. 1 lightweight contender spot. If McGregor won. Now, can't do it. There's only one option. It has to happen. Can't go any other way. Conor McGregor vs. Jorge Masvidal
- Breaking: Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal will HEADLINE UFC 244 on Nov. 2 in NYC, per Dana White.
- The Greg Hardy experiment is over, right? Done, done.
- Khabib Nurmagomedov retires 29-0. I believe him, he won't be back. Promised his mother this was it. He has my vote as greatest fighter of all time.
- Per UFC officials, none other than Paul Felder (@felderpaul) is stepping in on FIVE DAYS notice to fight Rafael dos Anjos. STILL a five round fight. STILL 155 pounds. Wow.
- Unbelievable. Conor McGregor absolutely demolishes Cowboy Cerrone. Left head kick that almost looked partially blocked ROCKED Cowboy. Never came close to recovering. There were more shots after, but Cowboy was done IMMEDIATELY. Wow. Wow. Wow.
