    “Buying the dip” means buying shallow, low range pullbacks over support and rising MAs, and preferably on the way back up. Buying into stocks that have broken down into downtrends & below declining MAs, is not buying a dip, it’s buying a downtrend. Key difference.

    Buying a dip means buying shallow pullbacks over rising moving averages. Buying into charts that have rolled over into a downtrend isn't buying the dip, it's buying a downtrend, and should most often be avoided.
