- UVa just dropped 81 points on the nation’s 4th-best defensive team and beat the No. 9 team in the country by 22 points
- 11 years ago today, news was leaked that UVa had found its new head coach to replace Dave Leitao. Tony Bennett was officially introduced as Virginia’s top guy on March 31st 2009. Bennett is just 50 wins away from becoming the Cavaliers’ all-time winningest coach
- Tony Bennett just said on his Coach’s Corner show that Ryan Dunn was willing to pay his way onto UVa’s team as a walk-on after VA had all of their scholarship’s used up after Traudt’s commitment. His dad was so sure UVa was the right place for him that he was willing to do so
