New Logo and font for our indie studio! We are bleakmill, and we love to make atmospheric & narrative first person games. After our debut release INDUSTRIA (PC, Xbox Series, PS5) we are now working on the next thing. Stay tuuuned!

Because we are massive Valve fanboys we always tried hard to get that Source feeling into our Unreal Levels. Lumen + Modular Hotspotted meshes is our new pipeline and we could not be more happy with it!

Though Im serious about the bridge I wholeheartedly disagree. The encounter design, pacing, atmosphere, art direction isnot bad. The physics where surely not the only thing for me that made it click. Maybe for the masses it was a gimmick, but every popular game has one of those.

This. Also, the simplification of "just bad" surely does not help to create an interesting conversation.

The creativity possible inside Source Engine/Hammer is just unbeatable, nicely visible in this building from Half-Life: Alyx. Left: with decoration, Right: pure BSP

More prototyping! Using camera terminals to observe whats going on around the map can be a big advantage.

Combined with Vertex Painting and a different art style you could also do something completely different...

Very early shots from a secret project we are exploring right now in #UE5.

There are people asking us to make an Elden Ring type game ("but smaller") as an NFT project in *10 months*. This is messed up on so many levels.
