- Update... I’m hoping to be discharged tomorrow and head home for some R&R. Quick message here to say thanks so much for all your kindness and support, it means a great deal to me 😊🙏
00:00 - I’ve just been the given the all clear by my doctors. I’ve been working hard and feeling fit. I’ll be doing trackwork tomorrow followed by trials on Friday with a view to resume race riding towards the end of the month. Thanks to everyone for your overwhelming support. #cantwait
- Well I’ve had better days! But must count my lucky stars it’s not worse. Fall at the trials this morning resulted in a C1 & C3 vertebrae fracture, so I’m out of action for 3-6 mths. Gutted to miss spring as had some great rides lined up and was feeling ready to take on the world!
- I was discharged from hospital last night, great to get home. Now the road to recovery begins... as well as some Netflix documentary watching - love a good doco, let me know any suggestions!
- Freedom!!! Almost as good as a Group 1 win - great vet report from Dr Stanford given the all clear to remove my neck brace. Now the rehabilitation begins, on track for an end of year return. #gearchange #bringiton
