I’ve never really rooted for teams and people I’ve covered, but this man is worth rooting for. And he yet again deserves better.
Loooong way to go when you're facing Mahomes, but this man put on a clinic in the first half. One big play allowed, and that's cause the safety misplayed it. 4.0 yards allowed on the 26 other plays.

#PersonalNews: With the start of the NFL’s new league year next week, I’ve decided to try free agency myself. This is my final week with the Panthers. I’ve considered this move for a while, and with the 2022 season and coaching search now over, the time feels right. (1/3)

NASCAR drivers should refuse to race tomorrow until/unless the sport finds out who did this.

Cam Newton’s had his faults - like all of us - but he never threw teammates or coaches under the bus, even when he so often could. Here he is again taking more accountability than he probably should, but he also understands why he’s gotta be above stuff like what happened.

Scott Fitterer, Ron Rivera and Frank Reich are all good men. Yes, results are what matter most in the NFL, but those three a top-notch people ... FWIW.

Greg Olsen is doing a great job tonight not just explaining things to typical viewers, but he’s also doing things to make it better for folks who are watching their only game of the year with some explanations of common concepts, but not in a cheesy way that often happens.

Well, he was able to get Baylor’s Kalon Barnes 20 picks earlier instead before shooting off to the Kenny Chesney concert

CJ Gardner-Johnson has been punched by a teammate and two Bears this season. What on earth does that guy say?

I’m excited to take a breath – literally – with more yoga and time to decide what’s next. I have some ideas. I’m also open to yet-undiscovered opportunities and conversations that might fill the space I’m about to create. Have something you want to kick around? Let’s talk. (3/3)

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Cam Newton’s deep ball to Julian Edelman earlier this drive traveled 54.4 yards. That’s Newton’s longest completed throw since the 2017 regular season finale.

The Panthers have just told me they're taking me No. 1 Thursday night. Adjust your betting plans accordingly.

Ron Rivera doesn’t have a QB or much talent, yet he’s won six games with three to go.
