    Hey @piersmorgan, I was raised that if I didn’t have something nice to say, it’s better not to say anything at all. Perhaps you can go and repeat that lesson. Born a proud 🇭🇷, and now a proud 🇨🇦! PS - it’s ok to wear pink as a guy and it’s ok to take your kid to a movie too!

    Saddened tonight to learn Hon. David Johnston has resigned as Special Rapporteur. He's a man of utmost character & an eminent Canadian. I trust the Opposition Leaders and MP's will do some real soul searching in the days ahead about how their actions have hurt our 🇨🇦 democracy.

    I'm angry. Some people are selfish & just don't get it. When a sports field or basketball court is closed by @ONgov emergency order due to #covid19wr, it means it's closed. Don't follow the rules - it'll cost you. Today, we laid our first charge to those who just don't get it.

    Hard to believe that yesterday was 4yrs that @JustinTrudeau stopped at #KitchenerCityHall to meet with local mayors & I to discuss infrastructure & other @FCM_online #elxn2015 priorities. Working together has seen $87+million Federal $'s come to @CityKitchener alone in last 4yrs.

    #covid19 update - Overnight Parking in @CityKitchener. Many of you have been asking if we can lift the overnight ban early since you now have more cars than driveway space. DONE. Parking bylaw officials WILL NOT be enforcing 3hr or overnight parking bylaws until April 6th.

    Finally saw @StarWars #TheLastJedi last night! Got to say, I really enjoyed the movie! A great final performance by @carrieffisher - #PrincessLeia you will be missed! Brought back memories from the first movie back in 1977 when the special effects were out of this world!

    Earlier today, I took #MamaV voting. Almost 50yrs ago, we came to Canada to live in a democratic country with the right to vote. She hasn't missed an election since we arrived and either have I since my 18th b-day! At 90, I'm blessed to still have her around on a day like today!

    The @CityKitchener lost a great lady today. @JennCampbell77 was a strong, no BS kind of lady. A talented broadcaster, a fierce feminist & a loving partner & mom. Our hearts go out to her boys, family & colleagues. Jenn's legacy will be our efforts to build a more just community!

    This is not rights and freedoms. This is disrespect. Disrespect of country. Disrespect of a 🇨🇦 hero who was selfless and sacrificed for others. To use a memorial of someone who united Canada in a so-called protest is beyond disgusting. Shame on those responsible.
