    Probably will get yelled at by Husker hoops fans for giving any credit to Creighton for anything, but this is a damned hard speech to give to your kids when they just watched a dream die and Mac handled it with class. He doesn’t need my admiration or respect, but he’s got it.

    I want to say thank you and to express my gratitude to the South High faculty, current and former players, coaching staff and the South Omaha community in general. It’s been a great ride. Today I begin my new chapter as Head Boys’ coach @OPSCentralHigh. Let’s go Eagles! 🦅

    Amused by people criticizing FDU Coach Anderson for telling his team, “The more I watch Purdue, the more I think we can beat them. let’s go shock the world.”referencing beating Purdue. Call me an eternal optimist, but if your coach doesn’t believe, how can the players?

    Got a chance to attend Alumni weekend yesterday. I was extremely proud watching this TEAM compete! Everyone who stepped on the court (and even those that didn’t) contributed to that win. Great environment & outstanding crowd yesterday! @CoachHoiberg @HuskerHoops

    As a former Husker, I was proud of the players, coaches and program in beating what I know will be one of the best teams in the country this year on their floor. Keep quieting the naysayers, gentlemen!

    Some coaches’ favorite plays, will never show up on a stat sheet. Diving on the floor for a loose ball, boxing out, setting a pick that frees a teammate for a shot, big guys protecting the paint from drives, taking charges. #winningplays

    I am not a raptors fan, but I do love Kawhi Leonard‘s game and demeanor though. Have never seen him beat his chest, show up an opponent, or talk junk. He just silently kills them.

    Great things can be accomplished when a team plays FOR each other and the common goal. Huge win for the players and coaches of #NebraskaBasketball last night! Definitely the most together group I’ve seen in Coach Hoiberg’s stint and the results are showing. Well done!

    Been meaning to tweet before now. It is a new chapter for me and for Central basketball. We have our eyes on the future, but it is very important to me that we continue to embrace the past and those who have built the tradition. We will strive every day to make u proud.🦅 🦅💜💜

    got to witness 2 very different milestones of former players today. The first was witnessing one of our guys getting married which my dad has always called one of the “5 great milestones”. To be present was truly an honor. The second was seeing our guy advance to the NCAA final.
