- One of the main reasons I can never return to this style of church is that attending Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox, and Episcopal churches for the past 5 years now has completed decentered the sermon from what it is here which is the purpose of going to church altogether.Josh Howerton preached this week that because Jesus offended people, it should be normal for pastors to say offensive stuff.
