- Our hearts hurt as we lost a past alum, standout player, state champion and great young man this morning in a car accident. Please pray for his family, friends and the Hurricane Community. RIP Cam, you will be dearly missed.
- Two years ago today the Hurricane community lost a shining star, as Will Washburn was taken way too soon. Our pledge and promise to his family was we will NEVER forget Will. Today, we honor and remember him. We miss and love you Will. #LLWW @bwashburn1990 @BridgetWashbur2
- Baseball aside, our Hurricane family had a HUGE success yesterday. The strongest woman we know, & mother of RF Aiden Ocheltree got to ring the bell. Kristen runs laps around the guys at our work parties with a weedeater & never let cancer stop her. We love you Kristen, CONGRATS!

00:00 - Spotlight-Weston Smith Our ACE. Our MVP. The Gatorade WV Player of Year, 11-0 on mound, 66in with an unreal 101K & a 1.03 ERA. Weston also batted .348 with 3HRS. Weston is going to WVU to play baseball & pursue a degree in Sports Mgt with a minor in marketing @WestonSmith123
- I don’t think he is allowed to wear his state championship ring during games, but man I can’t wait to watch @BroganBrown13, who is now #37, kick butt for @HerdFB . Proud of this young man and can’t wait to see him run out of the tunnel.
- Witnessing @wvssac Director Bernie Dolan kick Cam Carney off field trying to celebrate with his teammates, after being thrown out by worst home plate ump in state tourney history (review the film) was ridiculous. If you want to hold kids accountable, hold your umps accountable
- The bond these boys had with Cam was unbelievable. Sure we have a great baseball team year in & year out, but this shows why. Our locker room is so strong and it’s because guys like Cam that help bring everyone together. Coaches, players and fans, one family.. Thank you Cassidy.

- The enormous gathering today at Valley Park proved what we knew, Cam was so loved. Not just by the Hurricane community, but from near and far. As we weep and mourn our loss of Cam, Heaven is a happier place, and Cam is already making new friends. We miss you dearly already, RIP
- Final from Power Park after 5 innings Absolute Domination Hurricane 11 GW 0 Skins finish 34-4 with zero losses in postseason, oh and 2022 STATE CHAMPS!!!!!
- With the help of Hurricane Mayor Scott Edwards, Former LL Pres. Wayne Hudnall and current LL Pres. Bryan Escue, the road in Hurricane City Park at Hurricane LL was dedicated tonight in honor of Will Washburn. Former teammates, friends and family gathered for the event. #LLWW
