For the first time in 8 years the Pioneer Jrs are Battle At the Fort Champions! The win came by the score of 9-8 (seemingly a lucky number for Post 348) off of the bat of Jordan Back on a walk off up the middle. What a fun game to call. Congrats Boys!

- Big news this off-season! Thanks to Ted Welchert, Tony Ruma, Leo Welchert and Josh Christiansen Pioneer baseball will be playing on much needed brand new sod next season. Work has just started but we are very much looking forward to jumping on the new infield next March.
- Pioneers move to 2-1 beating Louisville 13-4 led by Freshman Eli Tinkham. 5 innings, 3 hits, 0 Earned. Sam Halford had 3 RBI's and Kenny Wellwood added 3 hits as the Pioneers tallied 13 hits on the day.
- Big opening win for the Pioneers. Genoways and Wellwood getting it done on the mound. Austin Welchert, Christensen brothers, Premer, and Halford all coming up with big hits. Runs scored by Lasher, Blake Welchert, and Quinlan. No errors on the Pioneer defense.
- Zig Drywall Post 348 Juniors took down EMN 17-4 to win the Waterloo-Valley tournament today! Sam Genoways gets the win on the mound and the award for tournament MVP with 3 hits today.
- After falling at Concordia Thursday night the varsity picks up the first win of the season at home Friday night against Twin River. Congratulations to Declyn Otte getting the first win on the mound and one more thank you to our community for giving us a great place to play

00:00 - Pioneers seniors walk it off once more against Valley. This time off the bat of Seina scoring the go ahead run in the bottom of the 8th. Calhoun was down 7-2 going into the bottom of the 7th and scored 5 runs the last of thise was Fuhrman stealing home. Huge win! 8-7 final.
- After dropping game one of the district tournament to Blair 10-0, Calhoun gets a win today vs. Wahoo 9-8 on a walkoff hit by Sam Genoways to stay alive! Theyโll be back in Blair tomorrow at 2:00 vs. the loser of tonightโs game.
- The Pioneerโs season ends with an 8-6 loss to Waterloo-Valley. Ty Hallberg pitched 6 1/3 with 1 run on 105 pitches. We would like to thank all of the parents and family members for helping out all season, and most importantly want to thank our seniors for an amazing 4 years.
- The Pioneers keep winning, this time beating Arlington 8-7 to advance another day! Tanner Jacobson gets the win in 5 innings of relief. They will play again tomorrow at 5 against Valley and if they win that itโll be a rematch with Arlington at 7:30!
