Reviews/dissections are important. But beyond all that, there's the FILM itself. #Retro is a unique film by a unique voice, and that (like every #KarthikSubbaraj padam) deserves respect. He continues to build one hell of a filmography, even if we like some films more than others.
If you are in the mood for financial con games before the #Pushpa wave hits, try #Zebra, starring Satyadev, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and a very impressive Daali Dhananjaya.

BR: About the #Liger fiasco, it all boils down to the script. Dear actors, stop listening to one-lines and short narrations, which are always going to sound exciting.
Please learn to READ screenplays. That's the only way to see how that "one line" has been fleshed out.
