    I got released after going 3-5 at 11pm that night. My flight took off @ 3am out in a town near Seattle, 3 connections later I was home. ⚾️ is cutthroat and owes you 0. Always work hard, never complacent, stay humble. Don't get comfy. Respect the crap outta the game and play hard!

    Can someone explain to me why some hs coaches don't want freshman to play varsity? If they're good enough, why not? Isn't the goal to make the team as good as it possibly can be? Idc if the senior has seniority...if he's not better than the frosh he shouldn't play!

    How are kids going on vacation & missing games? Idc what sport it is, you never miss because of vacation. The only acceptable excuse to miss is religion, death in family, or your own death. Not being insensitive, its just a privilege to play athletics. You can vacation later.

    We need to meet in the middle when scouting, recruiting, ranking players. We can't solely rely on tech to provide all the answers. Tech is great but can't measure a players heart, character, work ethic. We're missing out on great talent if we just look at data.

    If you rake high school fastballs you'll play in college. If you rake college fastballs you'll play pro ball. If you rake minor league fastballs you'll play in the big leagues. Sit dead red & adjust to everything else. Best way to hit offspeed is to hit the fastball before it!

    Parents: Teach your child how to hold a respectful conversation. I've seen many studs not get opps bc they can't hold a convo. Teach to make eye contact, shake hands firmly, & go out of way to say hello & thank people. Doesn't matter how good you are if you aren't respectful!

    Parents: Please 🛑 complaining about gamechanger mistakes. GC is great for people that aren't at game & so coaches can focus on coaching & not scoring. Stop making stats the forefront. I'd rather 👀 a barrel than 17 hop basehit & so do college coaches! Keep track of hard hit ⚾️!

    We have the RIGHT people on this. Final meeting tonight at 8pm. The protocol we have is top notch. This is more than a game. It will shape their lives. It would be detrimental to their development as people if we don't make it happen. We can do this SAFELY! #LetThemPlay
