    A personal thread: Last week, we lost a great one in my father, Barry Freedman. He was my role model. The example I lived by. Always the voice of reason. By introducing me to baseball he helped charter the course for myself and my career, without knowing or trying.

    Miguel Vargas is not in OKC's lineup for a second consecutive day, but it is for very good reason. Earlier today he took his U.S. citizenship test and passed with flying red, white, and blue colors. Congrats, Miggy! 🇺🇸

    Oh my goodness. James Outman just hit a walk-off three-run homer to complete OKC's first cycle since 2011! He goes 5-for-5 with a homer, two triples, a double and 6 RBI. His second 6 RBI game in 3 days!

    Bobby Miller seems to be acclimating well to his new role out of the bullpen. Last 5 games, including tonight: 6.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K Has retired 18 of 19 batters faced in that time. #Dodgers

    One man's humble opinion about Miguel Vargas: I'm not a scout - far from it. Just a Triple-A radio/pr guy. I've been in OKC for 10 years, and at least among players for OKC's team, I'm pretty sure he has the best pure hit tool I've seen. #Dodgers

    Impressive day for Zach McKinstry comes to an end after 5 plate appearances. Went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double and two runs scored. Only time he was retired was on a well hit ball caught on the RF warning track. #Dodgers

    Ron Darling just said this about Will Smith: “It’s hard to believe that when he came though the system he was defense first, hitting second. They thought he might not ever hit in the Major Leagues.” Huh? As someone who was around him in the Minors, nobody ever said this.
