Critical race theory has no place in Arizona schools. Superintendent Scott Menzel's comments are unacceptable. Superintendent Horne joins Scottsdale legislators and parents calling for the removal of Superintendent Menzel.
Superintendent Horne is committed to protecting female athletes. Thank you @Riley_Gaines_ for all you're doing across the country to save women's sports! @icons_women 2nd annual summit has brought together leaders from across the globe to work together to save women's sports!
Superintendent Horne is defending Arizona state law which bans biological boys from competing in girl's sports. #TitleIX was created for equal opportunities for female athletes, and allowing males to compete in women's sports undermines everything these athletes have fought for.
Superintendent Horne believes in empowering parents, and that's why he launched the Empower Hotline. No educator should discuss politics, critical race theory, or social emotional learning with students. Every educational minute is precious for our students. #EducationForAll
Empowerment Scholarship Accounts (ESAs) will not bankrupt the state. Superintendent Horne is focused on empowering parents and allowing every single parent the option to choose the best school for their child. #EducationForAll

Superintendent Horne is opposed to this, and we have contacted AHCCS to remove it. Our department will be working to ensure this program doesn't start in any Arizona schools.
📢Public Schools | Unregulated Mental Health Service Providers (dba "certified counselors/social workers"):
@azedschools publishes new guidance, with state medicaid agency, to expand presence of licensed mental health providers in AZ schools, transforming our understanding of
Superintendent Horne is pushing back against @arizona_sos lies. No ESA parent has been reimbursed to buy a $500 Star Wars Lego set, which is a fake photo put out by SOS. They spread pro Hamas propoganda and disregarded the concerns of Jewish students.
Terminating a contract based on religious practices is unacceptable. The teachers from ACU sign a contract that adheres to the district's guidelines, and it's ill-advised to cut off an educator pipeline as our schools struggle with staffing.
Superintendent Horne said, "There’s nothing more outrageous than religious prejudice...The person who raised this on the school board describes herself as a ‘neuro-divergent queer.’ And when she says that, she expects you to be tolerant of her."
