    While advocating for our cause, please don't call Uyghurs and other East Turkistanis "Chinese Muslims". It's cringeworthy and offensive. We are a Turkic people w/an occupied land and calling us Chinese doesn't help our narrative. It's like calling Palestinians "Israeli Muslims"

    What appears to be an East Turkistani mosque is now used as an entertainment lounge for Han Chinese settlers to drink, smoke and dance to Uyghur music Honestly how much more outrageous does this oppression have to be to get the international attention it deserves

    One of my relatives just got sentenced to 15 years of prison by China for no crime at all. He will be tortured and only God knows if he’ll come out alive. (duas please) And he’s only one of millions of Uyghurs being arbitrarily locked up by China as it commits ethnic cleansing.

    Mulan thanks Turpan Bureau of Public Security because it was filmed in Turpan in 2018, the peak of re-education campaign. How many thousands of Uyghur were put into camps by Turpan Bureau of Public Security when filming Mulan there?

    Much of our Uyghur diaspora community need therapy -- we're suffering from anxiety, nightmares, panic attacks, and more. We need pro bono therapists specialized in genocide and torture. Expecting victims of trauma to pay $100+ out of pocket/session is crazy.
