Met a company that is just starting and raised $5M with no product, no customers, and obviously no revenue with $35M valuation. Efficient markets are a myth in early stage venture.- I tell friends seeking long-term life partners: Cool people are rarely reliable partners. Highly reliable people make excellent partners.Highly reliable people are rarely interesting. Very interesting people are rarely reliable.
- Most people (investors, media, and even friends and family) won't believe in you until it's very obvious. When most people eventually start believing in you you might not need them anyway! Surround yourself with believers and helpers.

- I just invested $10m in a company. That is 33% more than size of my entire 1st fund I started in 2015. We are on fund 3 now. My resolution every year is to focus, ignore the noise, keep my head down, be a contrarian & do better than my personal best. 2022 will be no different.
