    Today marks the fourth anniversary of the passing of our pupil Ellen Finnegan. We remember and pray for Ellen’s soul, her family and friends. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

    It is with deep regret that we learn about the death of Niall Laverty,brother of past Assumption girls,Colleen and Grainne. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Laverty family,as well as everyone in the Saul and St Patrick’s Grammar School’s communities at this very sad time.

    Delighted to hand over hundreds of goggles and gloves, some masks and hand sanitizers to Doctors who will be working in the Newry, Mourne and Down specialist Covid 19 units. Thanks to the Assumption Family for coming together to support our superheroes in the NHS! #StayAtHome

    On Friday we said ‘farewell’ to Mrs Digney as she heads off to pastures new in September! Emma Rose has spent almost 6 years inspiring our Assumption Girls as an RE Teacher, Head of Year 13 and, more recently, as Head of Careers. We are going to miss you, Emma Rose! Good luck!
