- Another successful rescue and reunion! An abandoned #elephant calf, rescued from a pit in Borbeel TE early this morning, was reunited with its herd after careful tracking & coordination by forest staff at Kathanibari, Borgang under Sonitpur East Forest Divn, Biswanath Chariali.

- Existence of Asiatic golden cat (Catopuma temminckii) in Manas National Park was reconfirmed after being captured in camera trap in 2019 & 2021, as reported in @IUCN newsletter CATnews recently. After a direct sighting in 2007, camera traps from 2011 to 2018 yielded no result!
- A leopard was admitted at Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation, Bokakhat with a deep cut injury from Jorhat. Surgery was carried out and the leopard is now under treatment. @cmpatowary @mkyadava @wti_org_india
