- Okay, for those of you wondering - did Joe Biden really drop an “inshallah” with the appropriate sarcastic usage? Yes, he did. I confirmed with his campaign - that is indeed what the man said.
- So many women have miscarriages and Nobody at work knows. They go to work the next day, no time off. Schedule a D&C as if it’s a routine doc appointment. This is groundbreaking.
- I'm thrilled that news outlets want to hire more journos to cover race. But I also wish there was just as much of a focus on making sure beats like biz/politics/tech/health were more diverse. Race isn't some niche subbeat - it kind of affects everything in our lives.
- Some things change. Some things remain the same. My dad got pulled over the other day in our home town, and the officer-in-training proceeded to tell him - “you don’t look like an American.” The same town he’s lived in for nearly 40 years.

- I've covered a lot of political rallies - I haven seen many where the crowd was THIS excited.
