I’ve been in the AI trenches since 2009, and LLMs are certainly a game-changer. But they also seem to be a warm-up act for the main event—the next cycle of AI innovation, coming in the next 12-18 months. Here are 3 areas we’re looking at to fuel this cycle, where founders can

I am an Indian American who grew up in Africa and came to the US to escape multiple failed socialist countries. The fact that @ZohranKMamdani is the @DNC candidate has irreparably damaged my faith in the party, and in @RoKhanna. I can’t figure out if you are stupid enough to
When Americans fly in from across our land to JFK & LaGuardia and hear over the loudspeaker, "I am Mayor @ZohranKMamdani, welcome to NYC," they will look to their children filled with pride and say, "In NY any dream is still possible!"

1/6) India is on fire. 7 people will die/min unless we set up hospital beds+oxygen. Sending concentrators is not sufficient. Hospital beds need that and more! So, #PoojaMalik, #NeerajGarg and I decided to set up onemorebreath.org. I will donate $20/re-tweet upto $100K

SF Supervisor Dean Preston thinks we are living in communist China and he can order Safeway to stay open. Genuinely can’t decide whether to laugh or cry

Service-as-software is a $4.6T opportunity. But no one knows how to actually grab that opportunity yet. The way to do so: a System of Agents. My @FoundationCap Partners @joannezchen and @JayaGup10 have now outlined how AI moves from simply streamlining a workflow to completing

Met a NY taxi driver who made it here via Mexico and got asylum based on fake threats of persecution. Cost him ~50K, took 4 months (door to door) including 2 months in jail. Worked as a cab driver for ~4 years, got his green card, and saved the ~150K to buy a medallion/minivan.

Huge congrats to my friend @shankert who joined @nvidia in April 2009 to build out the “enterprise” business. At the time, it’s mkt cap was ~$10B. The “enterprise” business now accounts for the bulk of Nvidia’s ~$2T mkt cap.

Fascinating stat: India exports more software ($133Bn) than Saudi Arabia exports oil ($113Bn)!

#GenerativeAI is the new “hot” thing in SV. Feel very lucky that @FoundationCap’s Enterprise was early to the trend and invested (1st check) in @regieai #Jasper #olivai & @converzai starting 2020. If you are starting a #GenerativeAI company, ping us!

Why are we making this so complicated ? Fentanyl is illegal. Selling it or consuming it is illegal. SF Residents and tax payers should not have to pay for the consequences of illegal behavior. SF residents, local businesses and tax payers are pretty clear - no drugs, no drug

Some comments can be written off as ignorance, but this is abhorrent. India was 25% of world GDP prior ro colonization. Churchill was responsible for more deaths than even Hitler (hard to imagine, but true). Requesting #India founders to raise awareness of this thread cc @8vc

After reading all the back and forth about crime in SF including statistics being thrown back and forth, the question on my mind is, why isn’t the policy “zero tolerance”? zero tolerance for illegal drug consumption, zero tolerance for drug sales, zero tolerance for homelessness
