Why do I tweet? Why does an academic need to use social media? It takes time, you get abuse, you get threats. But, as an academic we have a duty towards the society.

- Iranian women removing their hijabs in protest and chanting ‘death to the dictator’ at the funeral of 22yr old woman who was killed after being arrested for breaking the hijab rule. These women are simply inspirational!

- A Pakistani Sand Artist had made a sand portrait of Indian Cricket star Virat Kohli - No one arrested him nor called him anti-national in Pakistan!
- The first mistake was removing him from power. The second mistake is to do a murderous attack on him. If and when there is an election in Pakistan, no one can stop Imran Khan from coming to power.
- Only two countries are demolishing houses of minorities without following the proper procedure of law. 1. Israel, 2. India. Victims in both cases are Muslims, so the world is silent.

- Qatar #FIFAWorldCup has given a stage to the Arab players and fans to show their support for Palestine!
- A historical mosque is being bulldozed in UP, India, to widen the road!
