    People say I 'idolize' Stalin. Not true, I hold a fair and balanced view. The man was neither savior nor saint, but he was, at once, a very successful revolutionary, a great contributor to Marxist theory, and said to be a great listener and collaborator during discussions

    Do you need to read theory to be a communist? No, of course not. Being a communist is an honest, natural response to the brutality of capitalism and the feeling deep in your bones that there is a better way. What theory can do, is help you articulate things

    hasan is correct. the only culture destroyed was a corrupt theocracy that brutally exploited the tibetan people as feudal serfs. since the revolution the tibetan people are better off in every way that social science can measure
