- If a patient gives me a £40 engraved pen as a gift I have to by law politely decline it (rightly). But the guy in charge of UK healthcare in government can take £350k+ from private healthcare links and that’s absolutely normal and definitely not a conflict of interest?! MakeSince 2015, Wes Streeting has accepted £372,000 from private health care links! This should be a illegal for a health secretary in charge of the NHS. There’s a clear conflict of interest & raises concerns re: probity & integrity Who is the health secretary really working for?
