    A very annoying part of American work culture is that it's not enough to just do your job--you're expected to act as if you looooooove your job. Taika is just being honest. Marvel fans are living in a fantasy world if they think their favorite MCU films were made out of love.

    Can someone explain to me why Avatar: TLA looks so fucking good?? They have a zillion locations and several complex action sequences per episode using pretty complex character designs. Did they just have a huge budget?? As a TV animator I am amazed but also confused

    A design 👏 change 👏 will 👏 not 👏 fix 👏 a broken 👏 story To be sure, Sonic's design is VERY bad, but if the script is fundamentally bad, there's no point in nearly killing a studio of underpaid, overworked VFX artists to "fix" it

    Not feeling too optimistic about the state of the animation industry today. We're supposedly one of the few industries that has managed to thrive during the pandemic, so why exactly does Disney find it necessary to shut down a 450-employee studio...?
