- While there are cool ideas in HL2s beta i think the original aesthetic is much more derivative of similar things and doesnt stand the test of time. Half Life 2s final setting is a truly unique and uncomfortably subtle apocalypse. Most things still looks horrifically "normal"

They were so magical and captivating, newI still think about Bungie's original Destiny concept art so so much The grounded sci-fi/medieval fantasy crossover aesthetic is absolutely unrivalled
