If Adventure Time or Steven Universe came out today they'd be cancelled after season one. This business model of cancelling shit if it doesn't immediately become number 1 will be the death of animation
It's so telling how the real life characters of the Wonka Experience were so much more endearing and left such a larger impression than the crappy Ai-generated concept images. Almost like human creativity is the point of art. There's fan art for god's sake.
Reasons why B*sky is better:
No nazis(And easy to block any who join)
No bots
Better blocking/block lists
Better moderation
Customizeable feeds/TL
No AI art (that I've seen)
NO CHECKMARKS!!!!!!!!!
You can detach someone's QRT and replies from your posts.
All it's missing is YOU
Using line weight for more interesting lineart. Thicker lines where there's shadow and objects closer to the "camera", thinner lines in light and objects farther away. Changed everything
When I got my first gig back in 2021 I had never timed an animatic, and didn't know half the terminology or any of the pipeline, but they gave me a chance and last year I directed my first episode! Give people a chance to learn on the job.
That's great, and exactly my point! No fandom can save a show anymore, evident by Inside Job being cancelled even though it consistently trended #1 when part 2 launched
