    We'll be opening 10 of our school kitchens from Monday to ensure that children who are entitled to free school meals can continue to receive them. Parents are also being reminded that we have an early years helpline to provide support. bit.ly/2WyVRb4

    Those lost in the #Tuscania and #Otranto tragedies near #Islay a century ago were this morning honoured with a rededication ceremony at the island’s American Monument, built by @redcross in 1920.

    Brilliant example of community spirirt on Bute. Port Bannatyne Post Office in Rothesay will lend you a bucket, & when you bring it back full of rubbish that you've collected on the beach, you'll get a free ice lolly, or a coffee if you prefer. What a fantastic idea! #abplace2b
