Earlier this week I & over 250 others issued a statement expressing grave concern at the national security legislation in HK. Clear violation of the Sino-British Joint Declaration, jeopardises HK's future and leads to the awful scenes below. The world cannot stand idly by.
Dozens of kids — literally kids — being dragged away one by one, handcuffed. Again the press is held back by orange tape so we can’t get too close.

Over the last 24 hours my inbox has been inundated with messages. The majority view, and my view, is clear. It’s time to #BringBackBoris. He has the mandate to lead our country & our party.

Fully agree with the Prime Minister @BorisJohnson on this and will be giving my total backing to the UK Internal Market Bill when it comes to Parliament. 🇬🇧 It backs Northern Ireland, backs UK business and gives our negotiators the support they need.
Let’s make the EU take their threats off the table. And let’s get this Bill through, back up our negotiators, and protect our country 🇬🇧 gov.uk/government/spe…

This evening I voted to end Free Movement, preparing the ground for our points-based immigration system which will take effect from 1 January. Unsurprisingly @UKLabour voted against, demonstrating how they continue to be out of touch with the country. Some things don't change.

Full and clear explanation from DC & on balance I think his actions were reasonable in his circumstances. I'll respond to all who have emailed on this but otherwise will be getting back to focusing on helping those who need it & delivering the commitments I made at GE2019.

This is just wrong. Whatever they might say these people aren't protesting about the global injustice of racism, they're using a community's pain to justify their own violence and aggression. Stop attacking the police. Stop defacing war memorials. Stop spreading the virus.
Police under attack in London. Again.

The government's Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities has to tackle this. White working class young people, particularly boys, deserve the same opportunities as everyone else.

The challenges we face at home and abroad are serious. They will require not only experience and determination, but a bold vision so we can rise to the occasion. In @trussliz we have the person with those characteristics. That’s why I’m backing #Liz4Leader

😊💉 Yesterday I got my first Covid-19 vaccine. A huge thank you to the team at Burnley Hospital. Didn’t feel a thing. When you get the text or call, get the jab. 👍🏼

Delighted to be the @Conservatives candidate for #Burnley in #GE2019! Had an amazing day getting out and speaking to people in Burnley town centre. Looking forward to speaking to many more across the campaign!

10 years ago we generated 40% of out electricity through coal ⚡. And today we have hit 2 months without using it at all 💚. This is a major milestone on our journey to a cleaner, greener, future. Important we now push on so we can get to 100% clean generation all the time.

Thank you to all those who voted for me. This was a historic vote for change in Burnley, and a vote to finally get Brexit done. I will work day and night to repay the trust put in me and deliver on your priorities. THANK YOU!

I was in the chamber at this point and you could hear it said clearly. Language like this should have no place in politics, be it on social media or in the HoC chamber, but sadly it's what we've come to expect from @AngelaRayner and her colleagues.
This is totally unacceptable from @AngelaRayner. At 29 seconds you can clearly hear her call @ChrisClarksonMP “scum.” As elected representatives we have a duty to lead by example. Will she apologise and if not will Keir Starmer take action?

Huge progress being made in testing 🔬 every resident and employee in care homes, thanks to the brilliant work of @MattHancock. That's in addition to everyone across the country being eligible for a test. Wouldn't be possible without the partnership between public & private 🤝
WATCH: We’ve now delivered #coronavirus tests to every care home that is eligible - both for staff testing & for residents to be tested.
