- I think one reason people underestimate Childe’s abilities is his age. He's 23 but he's being compared to ancient and immortal beings. At 23, Signora was perfectly ordinary. When Zhongli was 23, he was probably just a pebble.
- i think the reason zhongli and childe in particular are mischaracterized so much is simply that they are extremely complex characters. they are some of the best characters in genshin (or any game) and the reason is this: they contradict themselves
