- My life is complete. One afternoon in Burlington, VT, and I ran into my hero. Actually spoke with him.
- The streak is over. After running two or more miles 439 consecutive days, yesterday I walked three. I’ve been plagued by quadriceps tendinitis all summer. When my knees recover, my running will resume. I’ve never loved running more but trees don’t grow all the way to heaven.
