- It’s absurd that in a hot tropical country like India vehicles aren’t allowed to have tinted windows. It’s ridiculously hot & even driving is difficult. Decision makers must be left on the road in Raichur at 12 noon for an hour to teach a lesson.
- There’s a Northie toddler next door who comes every morning just to have breakfast. The little guy comes running in, has whatever I’ve made for the day- idli, dosae, pongal or uppittu and goes home 😂 Biggest validation for South Indian breakfast 🤭
- Woke up at 5 to take the 6’o clock train to travel 250 kms & waited for an hour to finally vote and now back in the same train in the evening! ಅಂತು ಇಂತು ವೋಟಾಯ್ತು! #KarnatakaAssemblyElection2023
- Can’t wait to go to Patna & say Hind maloom nahin and demand Kannada everywhere and start complaining the minute I land there about everything from weather to roads to people!
- The more I travel in public the more I’m convinced we need dictatorship. Absolutely no civic sense. People watching reels in full volume, throwing garbage right under the seat they’re sitting on,absolutely no attempt to even control their unruly kids & these are all educated 🙄🤦🏻♀️
- Only Malayali kids speak in their mother tongue. Rest all (Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu) just speak in English. Playground observations!
- It’s the parents who push English on toddlers. Why on earth do you need them to learn English at one year old? Kannadiga parents don’t speak in Kannada at all with their kids. Such pathetic people we’ve become.
- This Kodava family in the bus- mother is speaking only in English to her 8-10 months kid. If you belong to minority community like Kodava, Havyaka, Kota it becomes all the more necessary to speak in your mother tongue & pass it on to the next gen. Save your language & dialects!
- Me playing ದಾಸನಾಗು ವಿಶೇಷನಾಗು in the morning. My maid listening to it: ಏನ್ ಮೇಡಮ್ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ರ ಹಾಡೆಲ್ಲ ಹಾಕಿದೀರ! 😂😂
- But Telugites speak in Telugu no matter where they go. And they always find their own people and make a big group. Similar to Tamilians. Lot of language pride. I feel Kannadigas are the worst 😂 Hooliganism aside we don’t speak in Kannada with each other only 🤦🏻♀️Do Telugu people not have language pride like Kannadigas and Tamils or they are just better people? Never heard anything about NIs getting threatened for not speaking Telugu in Hyderabad.
- Take your parents out! Take them on trips, treks, dinners, parks, anywhere they like to go and anything they want to do. As an adult your time with them is limited, use it to make them happy and bring a smile on their face!
- In a marriage, it’s such a relief to know that if something goes wrong there’s financial support from your spouse. Being single is tough on not just physical & mental but financial health too. People don’t talk about this enough.
- Gen Z will find it hard to believe but you can invite 500 people and still have a simple wedding. Ditch the unnecessary mehndi, sangeet, decor & photoshoots and have a simple baaLe ele oota with traditional ceremonies only.
