Someone should just introduce an amendment to delete all crypto provisions from the bill. Nothing good is on the table. Take a step back, regroup, learn, and do it right.

Should protocol core devs release rushed, unvetted new software in a crypto system? Nope. Neither should Congress pass rushed, unvetted crypto regulation. DON'T RUSH THE REGULATION.

DELETE IT ALL. ALL THE CRYPTO PROVISIONS. THEY ARE WORSE THAN THE STATUS QUO.

Watching the crypto world wake up to the fact that miners / validators are intermediaries with discretion and that crypto transactions aren't peer to peer.

Given the major flaws in the underlying bill’s unworkable and devastating crypto provision, I also filed a separate amendment to strike the whole thing, in the event a bipartisan deal can’t be reached. We have to act now to stop this.

Fascinating new law from France banning publication of statistical analyses of judges' decisions. Seems like an attempt to maintain mystique/legitimacy of legal system as above the flaws of particular humans.

Congress is shoehorning regulation of crypto into an unrelated infrastructure bill. ICYMI, I argue for a more deliberative, inclusive process of regulation, as this hasty, piecemeal effort could increase rather than decrease harm. coindesk.com/congress-dont-…

Does anyone have stats on how much of the #TexasPowerGrid is devoted to Bitcoin mining? This is on my mind as my family and I are asked to reduce our air conditioning use, not run washing machines & dryers, etc.

Is it okay to learn in public? Or do you have to act like you know everything after a certain point and do your learning in private?

This is ridiculous. Please stop pumping #blockchain tech for critically important use cases like voting in public elections when all actual voting experts disagree. Misleading policy makers and the public on this is irresponsible.

Really pleased to share this op-ed I wrote for the @nytimes on how #blockchain enabled online voting could help eliminate voter suppression and improve trust in our democracy. nytimes.com/2018/11/05/opi…
