Justify did something remarkable in winning six races in 111 days, five of them going two turns. This is something you likely won't ever see again. We can discuss where he fits from an historical perspective at another time. For now it's just congratulation on an amazing feat.

It's with a very heavy heart that I say that my friend Harvey Pack has died. He was a great, and positive, influence on my life, both personally and professionally. He brought a lot of joy to many racing fans as well. He was 94. He had a great life. May the horse be with him

It’s impossible to express what a loss this is. He touched many lives in wholly positive ways. To say he will be missed is an understatement…

As the meet comes to a close, I want to thank everyone for all their support and kindness. While there is a mistaken impression that all I do is take abuse, NOTHING could be further from the truth. While I will never give less than 100%, your support makes it a pleasure. Thanks!

Lost in the midst of the utter brilliance of Flightline, is how good Life is Good is, as under those utterly impossible circumstances, he hung in for a VERY long time. You can’t win, or even finish second, in these circumstances. Life is Good was more than good.

So I tested positive for Covid ( I'm fully vaccinated ). I'm fine. I had some mild symptoms, and given the current situation, I felt I should get tested. Lousy timing to say the least. I expect to be back at work next week. In the meantime, there will be plenty of Tweeting:-)

While I understand crazy things happen in meltdowns, this one is beyond inexplicable. Don’t give me Mine the Bird, as his pps were closer to Secretariat’s than this horse. This is as incredible a result as you may ever see.

I realize, and understand, that most are focused on the Derby right now, but the official announcement that @TheNYRA has gotten the approval to build a new Belmont Park is incredible news for the Industry as a whole and racing fans.

There is nothing better than that first day you get to Saratoga every year. Best town on the planet.

For what it's worth, the first and third finishers ran two weeks ago in the Derby. But we need to change the spacing of the races 🤦‍♂️

To those that have asked my thoughts on today’s news....my opinion has always been the same. I have no tolerance for anyone that cheats and/or hurts the game that we love. I also believe firmly in due process. I would like to think we can all agree on that.

Flightline really does justify the hype. To chase that insane pace and then draw away is something you just don’t see, especially at this level. Pretty remarkable.

I cannot get over the amazing race Hot Rod Charlie just ran. Take nothing away from the winner but that was an incredible effort in defeat

Even in the rain, saying goodbye to Saratoga is never easy….
