- Fight choreographers don't get to choose how their work is shot or edited, but damn if The Witcher doesn't have the most believable/heaviest/best sword fighting I think I've ever seen:
00:00 - *reads only the headline* *lights torches* "JAMES CAMERON IS THE ENEMY" *reads actual quote* "Oh I disagree, but I understand his position."
- Here's my thing with Man of Steel. The idea of asking my child to put aside our love for each other, and trust MY belief in who they will grow up to be--trust it so much, they'll *let me give my life* for it--is one of the most profound & beautiful things I can even contemplate.
- If Marvel has made one thing perfectly clear, it's that heroes kill people without hesitationIt might have been a Christmas release, but Marvel's #Hawkeye now holds the highest kill count for any individual MCU movie or show. Worst Avenger? More like the BADDEST Avenger. buff.ly/3euL7SS
- Aquaman is a breathtakingly beautiful, weird, badass, FUN idea of a modern superhero fantasy (anime) and makes zero apologies. Second half's one cheer/laugh after another. Imagine '80s Schwarzenegger starring in "Hideo Kojima's AVATAR" and you're most of the way there. #Aquaman
GIF - Wow so nobody thought "hey maybe her neck is just long and we shouldn't be shitty and awful attacking this talented young actress" cool cool
- Zack Snyder's Justice League. Beautiful, bold, patient, and so determined to give dignity to every bit of its story and characters, it's guaranteed to inspire the future of fantasy blockbusters. In other words, everything Man of Steel and BvS fans knew this was building towards.
GIF - In case there's any doubt Andrew Garfield was and remains the best Spider-Man the MCU could've gotten, try NOT to hear this dialogue:
- Since plenty missed Bad Times at the El Royale, let's end 2018 with Cynthia Erivo dismantling the patriarchy on behalf of all tired women:
00:00 - Martin Scorsese would call Zack Snyder's Justice League cinema.

- 1. Think of your favourite old movie 2. Ask yourself if it was universally praised upon release 3. Realize you don't know or care 4. Realize it doesn't matter 5. Rewatch that movie Films exist to be seen, felt, and responded to by YOU. They don't exist to be given letter grades.
