    I just looked up my ballot online and saw it was rejected because of something re my signature. I called and was able to fix it with a series of identity confirming protocols. If you live in a state where you can check on your ballot online please do! I never would have known.

    I got some hair. I got some eyebrows. I got clear scans. I just today got bloodwork back confirming there is currently no evidence of disease in my body. I got no idea what the future will bring, but I know it will bring love, and I’m celebrating this joyous day. Love y’all!

    New: Many states allow voters to fix and resubmit ballots rejected for technical reasons. It’s called “curing” votes, and the GOP is trying to prevent them from being counted because they could help Biden win. propub.li/34Wgfa0

    Be careful with artists whose art you love because of the ways they are hurting. There is a hidden pressure on those artists to always be hurting. Everyone deserves a greater wish from the world.

    Years ago, I started calling my most depressed times—hibernations. It helped me reframe my very low days as days that might refuel and nurture me. Also, it eased shame’s grip on my thoughts about what I was or wasn’t doing. Sharing in case that reframing might help someone else

    There is so much love in consistently asking, “Who are you now?” There is so much love in letting our loved ones be continually new to us. To love someone isn’t so much to know them, as it is to know their never-ending BECOMING.
