Just capped off a πŸ”₯ 3 week stint in the @YaleCardiology @YaleMed CCU! STEMIs, VT storm, cardiogenic shock, valvular pathology, amazing patients (& their families). Had a blast these last few weeks with @OslerResidency alum @ElliottMillerMD as our fearless leader!!! #OslerPride

I’m working in a COVID ICU right now and the most consequential thing I did last night was to set up a Zoom so that a patient could see their family. Important to not lose sight of our patients’ humanity as we get caught up with vent/high flow settings, sedation, pressors etc.

Pro tip for residents looking to do research: Find yourself a mentor who hypes your work the way @ErinMichos does for her mentees (& encourages you to study what excites you & challenges you to do your best)!!! Grateful to have such a dedicated and supportive mentor πŸ™
