I've learnt so much from the awesome journalism of @salonium that it was about time I invited her on the show -- and she agreed! Episode 445 of The Seen and the Unseen throws truth bombs about science, medicine, data, academia & reality shows: seenunseen.in/episodes/2026/… Much fun!

This is one of greatest videos of all time. Just watch till the end! And then watch it again, and again, and again, like I did. Masterful. (Via @cyntalist)

Remarkable self-control by @imVkohli. In a sense, it's a classic Twitter moment. Person with zero knowledge & zero self-awareness tries to give random gyan to actual practitioner.

'Maine aapko jawaab de diya hai.' This video is a perfect illustration of how our netas feel they owe us no explanation. They are our masters. We are mere pesky subjects.

My father died an hour ago. He was admitted to hospital two weeks ago, all systems failing, couldn't recognise us. Picked up Covid while there, because hey, he always tried everything at a buffet. Can't even say what finally took him. I guess he died of life, like we all will.

Now I have two reasons to cry while watching this video. RIP Daniel Naroditsky. Pure soul. Everyone who loves chess is in pain today.

When it comes to Bollywood or cricket celebs doing what they're doing, I wonder, is it the carrot or is it the stick? They're rich enough to not be bribed, so it must be fear of some kind. What kind? I hope some insider reveals the full story one day.

I'm mildly confused about one thing. Why are some people who say there is no such thing as Brahminical patriarchy upset with those who want to smash it? If it doesn't exist, let them smash it, no. What goes of your daddy?

At the moment, Narendra Modi's understanding of federalism appears to be this: The centre focuses on narrative. The states have to do the actual governance.
