- 31 yrs ago 2day my dad was woken by a call which horrified him. An oil rig had exploded in the North Sea and they needed help. Dad organised 4 Red Adair to be flown in to help put the fire out on the Piper Alpha. 167 brave men lost their lives that awful night. Never forgotten.
