I ADORED Tatiana Maslany in She Hulk. Charming as fuck, comedic timing on point, played breaking the fourth wall so well, etc. etc. No notes. I wish more people gave this show a chance.

I actually think it’s metal as hell that The Stranger doesn’t wear armor. Leslye Headland has discussed the intention behind this: He knows he’s going to mow down his opponents, so why would he need any? The costume design telegraphs SO much about his character. #RenewTheAcolyte

I like how his saber splits into two instead of just being a Maul knock off. They did a good job making his look stand apart from other Sith designs. I do wish there was more armor besides the helmet and arm braces. Would have been cool to see if he had a full on suit or if it

I never want to hear again that The Acolyte cancellation was ever about numbers/viewership when it was Disney+’s NUMBER 2 most viewed series in 2024. Just absolute clowns over at Disney and Lucasfilm. #RenewTheAcolyte, you cowards.

I do not EVER again want to read/hear a single person maligning The Acolyte for its supposedly bloated budget after seeing this report about Andor. Get right the fuck out of here with the “cost structure” bullshit Disney & say with your chest why you really canceled The Acolyte.

Lucasfilm’s inaction at the vitriol targeting Amandla is awfully damning considering the VERY well documented history of the same abuse faced by every actor of color in SW. Sitting idly by is a conscious choice that speaks volumes about their own willing complicity in bigotry.

Having Leslye Headland at the helm of #AcolyteS2 is an absolute must. Her creative vision gave us such a compelling season 1, & the acolyte’s story just begs to be parsed out even deeper. Don’t cower away at innovative storytelling in SW, Lucasfilm & Disney.
