Today's reminder: One of the most precious resources you have, endlessly abundant and freely available to you at all moments of your life, is silence. Use it more.

A garden variety homophobic halfwit so desperately insecure in himself that he takes the time to make skidmarks on a pride flag with his ridiculously, stupidly oversized (compensatory) pickup truck is…a legend? Oof. Silly little men like you…

What I’m seeing, if you watch closely 1) Trump is starting to show first ever real signs of panic. His reptilian survival instincts are kicking as he starts sensing a comer. 2) Reporters are starting to smell blood Anyone else?@sarahkendzior @gregolear @donwinslow @MollyJongFast
The President has another episode when his words are used against him again

What’s most telling about this clip is how the crowd literally sits in silence through two whole minutes of this nonsensical blabbering but then erupts in applause when Trump uses the words β€œdumb son of a bitch”—it’s like that’s all they really want to hear...

"Don't you understand, you dumb son of a bitch" -- I challenge you to try and make sense of this Trump rant

The most valuable lesson that a lot of people seem to be missing hereβ€”perhaps even you (understandable given being threatened)β€”is how little it took to bring the guy back to his senses. We’re so used to antagonising each otherβ€”which gets us nowhereβ€”vs engaging as humans beings.

Stop for a moment and let it fully sink in that this is a tweet describing the United States of America.
Vote counting has not stopped in Maricopa county despite the white supremacists outside.

Bad call on this one, Mehdi. Did you watch the interview? She was visibly on the offence from the outset and literally was looking to find cause. His original comment was that Israel was starting to lose public opinion in spite of having β€œconnections”. Do you disagree with that?

And remember, malign elements are spending real money here on thousands of troll accounts (agitating on both sides) to keep us in a state of discord ALL THE TIME and believing that there is no hope of engagement. We need to get smarter. A lot smarter.

What many miss about Donald’s argument is what it reveals, not about his less than average intelligence, but about his extreme sociopathy. He sees β€œcases” as just numbers that affect his image, like the ratings he’s obsessed with. To him the people, ill and dying, don’t exist.
Trump: As an example, we’ve done 45 million tests. If we did half that number, you’d have half the cases, probably around that number. If we did another half of that, you’d have half the numbers. Everyone would be saying we’re doing well on cases

If only you’d thought a little about what you’re actually saying in this tweet, you could have saved yourself the embarrassment of being the self owning idiot that tweeted it. Sorry.

Listen carefully. The guy on Donald’s right tells him and then Meadows that β€œthis sheriff’s county delivered (Trump) the highest percentage in the state” This is a FEMA meeting. β€œDelivering” votes is not a sheriff’s job. #FascismIsHere @lauferlaw @Acyn

Even the most practiced liars have tells. Listen very closely to Donald’s voice here. That β€œsofter tone,” which he hopes sounds sympathetic yet somewhat vague and personally disinterested, is actually tightness in his voice. He is standing close to his kryptonite and he feels it.
Trump on Ghislaine Maxwell: I just wish her well frankly. I’ve met her numerous times over the years especially since I lived in Palm Beach and I guess they lived in Palm Beach but I wish her well

What has the stale stench of European colonialism more than a crusty old European white man in his seventies standing in Syria imagining himself in Europe?
